19 seconds and youtube

Wonder what is in this 19 sec video?Well this was the begining of one of the greatest revolutions in web 2.0.
The guy You see in this video is Javed Karim,and he is one of the three founders of Youtube.The video named "Me at the Zoo"(uploaded at 8:27PM on Saturday April 23rd, 2005), is the first video posted in youtube.Yesterday when i was watching a clip in youtube ,i got curious
about how all these started..And i asked google for answer...the video posted above was the reply..

Delhi 6:Marketing does the magic

Yes i did it again.Once again i was carried away by the promo of a movie.Went to watch it with great expecation,
and got dissapointed and irritated.This time it is "Delhi 6".

Movie basically says that we indians do not have brains to think.We cling to our old believes and we love and fight
with out any reason.Ofcourse NRIs are really Lord vishnu.They sometimes comes down to our land from their perfect
heaven in an aeroplane(yes they takes avtars).And they teaches us how to think ,how to solve our problems,whats our problem
and so on and on.Same old dialogs which awakens the "kala bandhar" in you(to know more about kala bandhar watch the movie).



In swadesh this NRI playing an avtar of bhagvan vishnu was ok.After that NRIs started raining from the heaven and i am now
am getting really irritated now.I now want to be the guy who shot Abhishek Bachan in climax,and shoot all NRI heros
who comes to save us.



And finally can you give me tips to judge wether a movie is good from the promo?

Skype: an introduction

What is it?
Its an internet telephony service owned by Ebay.We already have yahoo messsenger and google
talk video,and skype for now is just like that for us indians(because we they dont allow
us to have local numbers here).It offers instant messenger,video conferencing and file transfer.

Installation:
Its a freeware.Go to skype.com ,download 2.1 mb installer and run it.It will do the
rest.And if it fail to install you can try the full set up(about 22.2MB).Need less to say you need microphone,speaker
and optionally a webcam,to use skype.

How to get started:
You need a skype account for that.After installation ,when you run it for first time you can fill in the form and get an account.

How to find friends:
You can use your friends name,skypename or e-mail id to find him/her.His name along with his city ,so its really easy to find friends.It allows to import conatcts from out look as well as yahoo.

Yes but not from your gmail account, well thats bad!
What can you do with it:
you can do video chat and instant messaging,both are free skype to skype.
you can even call to mobile and landline numbers,but thats a paid service.

3 Kind Of People In Love

First kind:they fall in love.they understand love as a feeling.its an urge,for them love is like
"an irressistable desire to irresistably desired"(its a quote:wilde or froste..somebody said it somewhere someday).
They are the "heart" people,they use their head to get what their heart want.


second kind:they "choose" to love.They understand love as a verb.A skill that has to be learned,a skill
that can be improved by practise.They apply their head while choosing people to love.They ask themselves
wether they should or can love a person or not.They have a hamlet in them,asking to be or not to be.



Third kind:they seem to be the luckiest of the lot.They force themselves to be in love.Yes i am referring to those people who let others decide whom they should love, and then force themselves to love that person.They may succeed, or they may compramise (adjust).I said they are lucky
because they avoid the dilemma when you have choice in your hand,if you choose,you become responsible of
the decision.

i prefer to be in second category....

Random Thoughts on programming

-Programming is not rocket science.In my view it requiries moderate problem solving skills and ability to map your thought to the language you use.Its very similar to school maths,the "toughest" part is to learn all those
axioms and formulae(read as syntax and built-in libraries).Once you understand then you should learn to custom use them for your specific problem.And you keep doing that(aka "practice"),you becomes a "good" programmer.
-Usually we see music,art and litreture as the "real" creative work,and i feel like programming is the art of left brain. Its a kind of poem of reasoning.
-we have electronic hobbiest who may not make nobel winning devices ,but for sure making funny little devices that works is kind of relaxing activity which gives our brain some engagement with enjoyment.I feel making small programs gives a similar kind of joy to me.The joy which we feel after making the beautiful sand castle at river bed(in kerala we have wet river beds with lot of sand but
little water in summer!).

Dummy politics
