Life

This is a simple zen story which a read when i was a child.The beauty of zen stories lies their simplicity.They are simple,yet profound.
"A man traveling across a field encountered a tiger. He fled, the tiger after him. Coming to a precipice, he caught hold of the root of a wild vine and swung himself down over the edge. The tiger sniffed at him from above. Trembling, the man looked down to where, far below, another tiger was waiting to eat him. Only the vine sustained him.Two mice, one white and one black, little by little started to gnaw away the vine. The man saw a lucious strawberry near him. Grasping the vine with one hand, he plucked the strawberry with the other. How sweet it tasted!"

I often see two kind of people.First category intuitively know what to do and how to do in all situations.I have met some people like that.I envy them.But rest of us learn life the hard way.We try,we fail,we learn.And that loop never ends.I guess the above story is for people like us,we suffer a lot to get a little.And after some time we may learn to enjoy the suffering itself.

This makes a team

My office is the most wierd place i have ever been to.It can be compared to a zoo or circus,but characters here are much more unpredictable.(I am also
a part of that...i agree :).So when i got this mail forward,i felt like i should share this with you.Hope all IT guyz will love it...

1. Project Manager is a Person who thinks nine Women can deliver a baby in One month
2. Developer is a Person who thinks it will take 18 months to deliver a Baby.
3. Onsite Coordinator is one who thinks single Woman can deliver nine babies in one month
4. Client is the one who doesn`t know why he wants a baby
5. Marketing Manager is a person who thinks he can deliver a baby even if no man and woman are available
6. Resource Optimization Team thinks they don`t Need a man or woman;They`ll produce a child with zero resources
7. Documentation Team thinks they don`t care whether the child is delivered, they`ll just document 9 months.
8. Quality Auditor is the person who is never happy with the PROCESS to produce a baby.And lastly……
9. Tester is a person who always tells his wife that this is not the Right baby

Real and Apparent

Now i don't have anything nice to say,so i decided to bore you with a little philosophy :).

I believe the ability to see the difference between the Real and the Apparent is most important .In professional as well as in personal life.

Apparent is which our mind wants to believe,with which our mind is most comfortable
and hence we easily believe.Real is the one which is often very disturbing,but most beneficial if we can stand it and handle it.Some times real is also the one which others want us to believe and will be disturbing to them if we discover it.

And real always help.Apparent is nothing but a painkiller which helps for the moment but comes with many side effects which will haunt us for long time.

That is why i guess good people are always in search of truth.
